More summer fun!

We've had a busy end of July and start to August...Owen and Avery have both been sick! Owen is finally better and Avery working on getting rid of an awful cough and cold. We've still managed to have some fun and get some good pictures :-)

Yesterday we took Owen and Avery to The Friendly Farm in Dublin. We spent the morning petting, feeding, looking and running away from lots of farm animals!

TJ helping Owen feed the "friendly goats". I think the farmer forgot to feed them their breakfast...or at least that's what they acted like!

As soon as we opened the gate they surrounded us! I held Owen so they wouldn't eat him...and we fed them as they tried to climb all over us!!!Owen giving a baby goat a bottle and then feeding the bunnies and chickens.

Here's Owen's new friend...I didn't catch her name, but WOW she was a looker!

We ate our lunch there and had some hens coming to see what we had packed! TJ's friend really wanted a bite of his peach...so Owen helped him hold it up high so the hen couldn't peck it!! Can you tell that TJ LOVES farm animals!?

Avery's rolling!

Avery is starting to roll!! She's rolled from her tummy to her back 4 times...this is her 2nd time!

Celebrating Bergeron

Saturday we spent the day at Great Grammie and Gramps' house for a Bergeron Reunion. The day started with some coloring and the kiddie table :-)

Tree climbing was a very big hit!Avery showed off her smiling and laughing...we managed to peel her off of me and let her hang out with some other people!!The the slip'n'slide came out! TJ tossed the little kiddos down the chute...Owen played until he was shivering and heard that the cake was being cut :-)

Jack had so much fun and the icing on the cake was that no one got hurt and no one cried!!!!

Which is amazing because none of the kids had naps! Nolan enjoyed himself too...and continued to play in the water after everyone else was finshed.

Owen was beyond thrilled when his big (2nd) cousin Seth told him he could take the slip'n'slide home...he can't WAIT to get it out and do it again!

Spofford Lake

We spent the morning at Spofford Lake today! We got there early and had so much fun before it started to get really crowded :-) Heather, Jack and Nolan went too...the boys played together in the sand and water, had a picnic lunch and Avery slept most of the time, waking up for a bottle and to people watch before heading home for naps!

We spent the morning at Auntie Kare and Uncle Sully’s pool, Owen LOVES the pool and is mastering his “jumping in” technique.  He also thinks it’s funny to dump buckets of water on other people…so this time Daddy surprised him!

It's always scary when your 2 1/2 year old knows how to use the hose....
